Users develop an idea, and write their own topic sentence, body, and a conclusion. The program provides questions related to the topic, which help to guide users step-by-step through pre-writing, writing, organizing, editing, rewriting, and publishing.
Completed paragraphs may be transferred to a word processing program,
HTML editor, or e-mail application.
This web site is based on the popular writing skills program, Paragraph Punch. The complete Paragraph Punch program features five different ways to write a paragraph: through reasons, details, sequence, example, and cause and effect. It also allows instructors to monitor their pupils' work.
The
current topic, "If you won a trip to Disney World, whom would
you take with you and why?" comes from the "reasons"
section of the program.
Periodically
we will change the paragraph topic that is presented on the web
site. If you have any suggestions or requests, please contact
us.
